The Ideal Shield 4″ Base Plate Bollard with Cover provides dependable perimeter protection with the convenience of a surface-mounted installation. Made and fabricated in the USA from heavy-duty Schedule 40 U.S. steel, this bollard is engineered to protect around warehouses, shop floors, pedestrian-friendly areas, drive-thru lanes, and much more.
The bollard features a 1/2-inch thick, 8″ × 8″ base plate for secure anchoring to concrete surfaces, eliminating the need for core drilling or in-ground installation. Available in 42-inch and 48-inch heights, it offers flexible protection for a variety of commercial and industrial applications. Supplied with a standard cold galvanized finish, which helps protect against corrosion and environmental exposure.
Each bollard includes a durable thermoplastic polyethylene bollard cover, available in either 1/8-inch or 1/4-inch thickness.
